I used this on mine...

Minwax 1 lb. Paste Finishing Wax

works great, and I use it on my scroll saw table!! make is so smooth.....

Thats is what it was the carriage bolt that held the quadrant assembly and worm control shaft in place, but worn out teeth on the quadrant assembly.... Thanks for the help, now to finish cleaning it up and to wood working i go....

It smooth light gray, 1.5 115v 60hz motor. Yes item 68 is worn it us great until he last two or three letters, a metal to metal sound like gears slipping when teeth or missed aligned and lots of free play between item 86 and 87.

Thanks for the greating, I guess what I am really after would be replacement part. Can I up grade to any fence, table, andhow do I know what speed control arms and wheel to order If I don't know the year. Does this matter? The ss works find In slower speeds but inin higher speeds it sounds like ...

New to SS but not to wood working

Got a question, I can not fine my serial number anywhere to match the date of my new, but used SS. The Serial number is 224585 its a 500 model.... Can any one help?
