Morse taper adapter
Anyone know where I might be able to get a mt#2 to 5/8" adapter, I know shopsmith sells them I am just trying to find them a bit more reasonable. as I need about 4 abd don't want to spend $80 plus shipping.

I have been getting some vibration and wobble recently. With just the chuck installed its still there but less. if you add a spindle or bowl the wobble is there but worse, Where do I need to start looking? Bearings. Spindle or what?

I have turned about a dozen pen and on the lat one it looks like the mandrel has warped as the pen is not centered on the brass tube after turning. I have tried to be careful and not push it too much on the live center but I have to tighten the knurled know fairly tightly to keep the wood from movin...

I just purchased mine at a local supplier (gotta support them). Had to order the adapter separately but should start making sawdust tomorrow. Got some sapele and some mahogany. will post when complete.

Adapter Loosening
It is the setscrew that appears to work loose after using it for a while. I'll try some loctite
