I'm 6'4" and it's PAINFUL for me. I try to raise one foot on a stool for a few minutes, then switch to the other foot. However, I would really like to get a nice stool, or design removeable riser. The table saw is right for me, though.

Thanks. I have to admit I fall prey to mentally redesigning my projects after they're done. I can imagine changes to this box. What's interesting is that the pictures don't clearly show that the tops of the walnut legs are angled at about 30* to compliment the chamfer on the top. In the end, I used ...

Can't tighten jointer fence outfeed end

I'm very new to my hand-me-down Mark 5 but I'm loving it so far. I used the jointer for the first time and realized I can't keep the outfeed end of the fence from moving laterally. It's not rising up from the tables, just swings left to right. While this is tolerable for edge jointing, it won't work...

Hey all, new to this forum and the proud recipiant of a hand-me-down SS 500 built in 1979. Dad used the heck out of it but now has a full shop and found it in his heart to give me his old SS. Unfortunately, I can't view the YouTube video from this location so please excuse any duplication. I saw thi...
