Re: Roll top desk plans.

There are plans for a roll top desk in the 1986 edition of the book "Popular Science Woodworking Projects ." I believe there is a good chance they are the same plans that appeared in Hands On. There is a copy available on Amazon right now for $4.25 plus S & H etc.

Re: Guitar Resto-Mod underway

Sounds great and looks great! The guitar has a full bass sound, yet at the same time the high end sounds really nice and crisp. Very sweet all around! Thanks for posting the video.

Re: Guitar Resto-Mod underway

Thanks for the information, Chris. I have seen some elaborate fret cutting jigs on the Stew-Mac site, but it looks like your method is working just as well. I look forward to seeing the pictures of the bridge installation.

Pretty slick miter box for the fret wire grooves - two questions: 1) how did you control the depth of each fret wire slot when you cut it, and 2) how did you lay out the fret locations. And, another que...

Re: US Government is About to Change Table Saws FOREVER!

Now Stumpy Nubs has weighed in on this matter...I particularly like his comments near the end regarding "veteran woodworkers". Great video, thanks for the link. Could not agree more with the need for education about saw use and safety. In this regard, every SS user should be familiar with...
