Re: Cermaic Spray On

Scott found the ceramic spray wasn't working that well where there is metal on metal contact. Even though the ceramic particles are tiny they still are going to leave a rough surface. On the legs and castings it could turn out to provide excellent surface protection.

Re: Old sanding belts

If you grind metal that could tear or rapidly wear out a section of the belt you might prefer to risk a ...

Re: SPT’s What When and Where

Hi Russ, It's great having this and your other What, When and Where threads available on line. Very valuable resource, thank you. Someone on My Growth Rings asked what these two holes in the bandsaw case were for: PXL_20240903_163646483.jpg I had no idea at first. Then I checked a saw that came moun...

Re: Shopsmith phone number not connecting!?

Just tried it out, no ringing, it just disconnects. 937-890-5197. Does it work for anyone else?

Re: Power Pro Headstock Won't Turn On

I had this problem when I did a PowerPro upgrade and first powered it up. Turns out a wire had come off the power switch. Don't know why yours would have a wire come loose all of a sudden, but even if not that it could be a bad power switch. I just tried their number too, it is not connecting. This ...
