Just a quick note, the blocks are not manufactured by Incra. All issues with this product should be addressed with Shopsmith. In my experience, Incra addressed the clamp block issue then Shopsmith sent a repair kit to me. Incra may farm out some metal work. In this case, only Shopsmith and Incra kn...

So 'loose' is NOT intentional? Are you referring to the flat head screws bottoming out? The chamfer is on the rear block. Clearly, the socket head screws that fasten the block to face come from Incra with the block not fully machined to fit the screws. Call Incra to report clearance issue...

Solved gap issue Incra v120

Gap between gauge face and block is due to chamfer not deep enough for screw holes in the block. The angle of the screw head not flush inside block. I called Incra for a new block machined to correct the problem. Word not out to all owners; sad... Take out the spacers and give Incra a call.

isobrownmk5, It looks like from your post that you have one of the new chucks correct? I thought about buying the keyless chuck but have a question. Can you lock the chuck down without using two hands? I have one hand and had keyless chucks on my cordless drills. The drill motor provides sufficient...

Got a email special on this new chuck. I noticed though that the price is the same as the price in the holiday catalog: $130.21. I was hoping to see a sale price, but perhaps this is an introductory price. Thoughts? So I Googled 5/8" keyless chucks. Found one on Ebay , new for $29.50 <lol> Fou...

This does not make sense to me! The longest arm of the foot pedal only extends about 1/8" beyond the end of the piston, and then only momentarily when lowering the ss to the floor. The relocation of the foot pedal further in from the end was to accommodate power station and stands etc. which h...

 I have the older set; I will make the modification as per your idea. Align with the old hole, no trouble. Thanks... Larry Older casters had the foot pedal very close to the end, newer ones have it about an inch or so closer to the center. You can punch out the roll pin and carefully use the p...

installed casters...

One arm of adjust lever contacts top of casters when making lift to move position. Can arm be moved away from casters to resolve this issue? New roll pin hole must be drilled for new position. What does SS recommend?
