The accessory hub.
Yes, it is the same in pics 9 and 14, becuase I never removed it since I got the thing.
However, just removed it yesterday and flipped it around - stripped the threads on the hex screw - ordering a new accessory hub.
At least when I get it, I'll know how it's supposed to ...

A friend from work gave me this old Mark 5 that his father bought new around 1958-59. It had been sitting around unused for quite a few years.
