It is a Mark 5. The serial # is actually 3464.

It looks just like my old green one but it is gray. I assume it is in that 1973 to 1978 range of serial numbers.

Hey guys, my son inherited a shopsmith #8464. It appears that the lower pulley is rubbing the plate behind it. Is there some adjustment or is this indication of a bearing or something? I have an older shopsmith myself and it is not making this noise.
