That would be a great design, but on my fence, neither the nut nor the threaded shaft are drilled with a hole for a roll pin. The design on the parts diagram looks like an improved design. Thanks for the help

I have a mid 80's 510, and the wingnut on the fence keeps coming loose and spins off of the threaded rod, leaving the fence locked to the rails.

I would like to use a locking nut on the threaded shaft to lock the wingnut in place but I cant find any to fit the thread pattern which ShopSmith used ...

I took the table off and verified that nothing looks cracked, but the rear leg is quite loose in its fit to the pivot in part # 151.

Is there a way to restore the fit of this leg to the cast iron pivot?

In the mean time I will use the extension tubes as a supplemental table support.
