AE-0133 Shopmate problem

I love this old shopmate and hope to fix it. The brush on one side of the motor is completely worn down. The other side is still at least an inch in length. I would like to replace the worn brush. Has anyone ever replaced brushes in this unit and if so where can I get replacements?

Thanks for all of the information. As it turns out plans have changed and I do not need to make this cut now. I will still try out your instructions so in case I do need to make this kind of cut in the future I will be ready.

setup saw for 30 degree ripping

I need to make the above cuts but not sure how to set up my Mark V to do this. I guess you need to remove the table insert in order to get a 30 degree
tilt on the table. I have never tried this. Is this a safe way to get the job done or is there another way?
