I have the double tilt and lift assist on mine.
For whatever reason I have a lot of difficulty with the quick disconnect on the lift assist ... unhooking it, and hooking it back on.
So I dont think I ever use the left side of the double tilt arrangement anymore.

There is a free hand fence alignment you can do as well to ensure a consistent thickness cut. Though it doesn't sound like
it is off much at the moment.

Re: Box edges-need some suggestions.
Alright- some more progress on those edges. I tried the full (top and bottom 45s) on a scrap piece. It wasn't 100% to my liking, but I think one 45 bevel on both the base and cover is a start which I can add further to later if I want but I think the single bevels look pretty good-shown in 2nd image...

Oh that mild 45 chamfer is a nice look ! Thanks for the visual br549 ! I'm sure i can do the long edge chamfers pretty easily, but are the short edge (vertical) chamfers cut by hand ? General shape/design is done but I keep looking at the top/base (light colored hard maple) and thinking I need to do something to those very square edges. I go back and forth between leaving it square as is, or softening either the horizontal edg...

Looks really nice. How thick is the base and are you concerned that it will limit your cut depth when using the sled?

Re: New Generation 2 PowerPro Headstock Touchscreen
Can't really see anything on that zoomed in picture-what are all those functions? What I don't see is a separate Run"/ "Stop" type button on like on the PowerPro 1.0 I already think these should be more prominent. If they are completely missing in 2.0..its a "no" for me. May...

I like Mikes assessment.
Hard to tell where a youtuber ends, and a real person begins but I think Mike falls clearly on the "real person" side of this one.
