Re: I am beyond help.

I think you are all missing the reason for Everett's original post. He said, "UPS customer service repeatedly told me to call Amazon and get an RMA to return the items I am MISSING" ... How do you return items that you didn't get? Yeah, but UPS CS has been non-existent during the pandemic...

NS threads went out over 80 years ago.
UNS, Unified Special. We had some of them on the aircraft generators I used to overhaul for the Air Force. The other one was UNJ on the F-22 generator.

Re: I am beyond help.

Why stock a 5/8-18 tap when only one person over the last 15 years even knew they existed. Why stock 5/16-18 low profile cap screws with a 5/32 hex socket when . . . (see above). Mail order made obtaining them possible(trick was to find a 'vendor' willing to sell single pieces rather than boxes of ...

Re: I am beyond help.

Obviously I am beyond help. At least from directives given by UPS customer service. I ordered 6 items from Amazon - Tiger Brand JS-100 Jack Posts, each capable of lifting 18,000 pounds. I have to re-level and replace wooden post columns on my patio. UPS arrived yesterday with a package failing to f...

JPG wrote: Tue Apr 13, 2021 8:22 pm So how positive is "You ain"t got no larning"?
Is that supposed to be two negatives in one sentence? :) It certainly doesn't make a positive in my mind. Of course if you have a good mother that can help there may be some hope to turn the two negatives around.

Re: Beginning fixing up a 10E — Need help please

Since I use "unread post" quick link I do not think I miss much. No time restriction there. If I may redirect the 'gripe'; one thing that irks me is lack of feedback when WE(more than one responder) suggest possible causes/solutions and the member requesting assistance falls off the plane...

Re: Beginning fixing up a 10E — Need help please

As I said to you with the other issue you had a while back don't give up hope. You're posts are always welcome, informative and very well thought out. In life we all need to stay positive. Negativism is what is wrong today.

Re: Beginning fixing up a 10E — Need help please

UNANSWERED? example? JPG, Well, I wasn't looking to call anyone out, but I guess I left the door open here when I brought it up. We all get busy, so there is no judgement here on my part, but it does get frustrating when posts get missed. I think sometimes there is just a sudden flurry of activity ...

Re: Making a Dovetailed Adventure Chest with Shaper Origin

John, Thanks. Maybe this is the link below? Yeah, I don't know if I will ever get a full CNC one day, but doing vertical work on the end, like joinery, definitely interests me. Since I am not doing production work though, I think the SO with the Workstation may be an easier platform to do specialty...
