Looks top notch Mike.
I'd be almost afraid to use something that clean and shiny.

Re: Mark VII a start and a long ways to go..
If I was going to get a new belt I would try a metric one. 13MM = .512". I believe the old SS belts were slightly wider than 1/2" (.500") I believe that slightly wider belt is important to get the slow speed as close to 700RPM as possible.

Re: Mark VII a start and a long ways to go..
I cant find my notes but I'm almost positive my MKVII has a 29.5" belt.
still the same belt that came with it when I bought it in 2017. Haven't had it apart in a few years.
BTW. your MKVII looks great.

Re: Old school Mark VII interchangeability with Mark V ?
+1 all that has been said except the comment re the table lock. I use one hand with the M5 and consider the MVII to be as accurate with two hands. ?? JPG, I don't know how you can adjust and lock a MKV table with one hand with its lever/wingnut lock system. You have the later version MKVII; I have ...

Re: Old school Mark VII interchangeability with Mark V ?
I've thought about replacing my MKVII one handed table lift/lock with the MKV 2 handed rod /wingnut lock system. It's more user friendly and accurate than the MKVII. It looks doable but I haven't investigated any further.

The 510 table system should work but you will lose the the double tilt of the MKVII table.

I think the "PC" stands for Polycarbonate ; a clear, tough plastic used in many applications.

robinson46176 Glad your back on this forum and at least somewhat better in health. When I got my MKVII and joined this forum in 2017, I didn't know anything about them. I went through and read all your posts about your MKVII's to acquire some knowledge on them because you were one of the few that ha...

Re: Hello from Michigan
Glad you have all that stuff especially the table and rip fence as they are pretty hard to come by nowadays; sometimes they come up on ebay. Most SS mark V works with the MKVII but some things are unique to the MarkVII only. Posting here is fine unless you have maintenance or woodworking comments/ q...
