Jointer Manual Disassemble Maintenance?

1. Is there a manual for the jointer which I inherited along with this 'Greenie'?
2. Is there any maintenance other than waxing? It looks like just sealed bearings, but is there anything to be lubed?
3. The blade seems sharp enough, but it's pretty rusty. Should I disassemble to really de-rust?
As always,

No on line Manuals from the MS on jointers, if it turns the bearings are fine.
Tables a bit of clean up and fence if need be, 220 wet then Shellac or Pentrol them, blades, only you know by running s0me hard wood and see how they cut

Look at adding the safety guard and fence extension with featherboards
Cheaper than any ER visit I've ever heard of.
Two safety upgrades worth the money. Check them out.

That is an even rarer manual for a 4E. A few differences, but functionally essentially the same as the later one.

I found a
jointer to be typically a safe machine, routers and table saws seem to be the worst. But anything can happen, I always keep both eyes on my hands, and the distant/ prolifical?? vision on the cutting/work piece.
