Don't drop your main table

I accidentally dropped my main table today and broke the table bar; part 163 in this drawing.

If someone here has a spare they are willing to part with please send me a PM.

You could bid on this ebay item (170710335147) and then resell the unused parts to recover some of the cost.

I gotta agree with dusty, EbaY is the place to find one cheap.
Here's a neat trick.
I was bidding on a MC part last year, it was a complete wheel, but all I wanted was the hub.
The rim and spokes were junk anyway.
The shipping was pretty steep for the whole wheel, But the hub would have been able to fit in a smaller flat rate box.
I emailed the seller and asked him if he would cut the hub out of the rim and
just ship the hub cheaper.
he did and It was well worth the savings in shipping to just get the part I needed.
Alot of times the table assemblies for the mark 5s sell cheap but the shipping can be real high.
I would call SImon Eng in Anaheim, CA and ask him, he has lots and lots of used Shopsmith parts and he is fair.

500 tables go pretty cheap but I need either a 510 or 520 to fit my carriage. They are a good bit higher, but I'll keep looking.

Why not have it welded?

A Mark 5/MarkV500 table/trunion... will not fit a 505/510/520.

How high did you drop it?

I'll buy a new one if I have to but want to explore other options first. I have a Ridgid table saw so I don't normally use my SS for tablesaw functions.

I dropped it while removing it from the carriage. The table legs are kind of tight and I have to spring them a little to get them into the carriage. When I cranked up the table to pop it loose from the carriage, I failed to catch it. I think it landed at an angle on one of the legs but I am not 100% sure how it hit on the concrete floor. As far as I can tell, no other parts were damaged.

Both the tie bar and the 2 tubes are numbered 163. Does this mean that they are not supposed to come apart?
