Makita Planer 2012 help

I just received a Makita 12" planer model 2012 (not the 2012NB) which has been in dusty storage for a few years. Since it has sharp spinning blades I think it best not to just turn it on and see if it runs...yet. Does anyone have access to the instructions for this model?
So far a Google search has not been successful.

I found the instruction book on the Makita site. It works, just can use new knives.
