Anyone interested a vinyl poster of the wood hardness chart?

Post by gpmark »

I've had several suggestions about how to print and use the hardness chart. I've checked printing costs and think I can do a custom design that is prettied up and will fit an approx 24" x 33" vinyl poster for about $30. Postage would be extra, but I would do it as cheap as possible and not charge extra for handling - probably a flat rate to keep things simple.

If you are interested then respond to the poll. Please respond only if you are interested - otherwise you will make things difficult for everyone. I will keep the poll open for 4 days.

If there is enough interest I'll go to the effort and post an update with a picture of the design, and the final cost and how to order.

$30 is a steep price! Personally, I'd rather have a downloaded PDF file that I can print out over and over again as I need it.

Just something to consider.

I downloaded awhile back a PDF file "YOUR GUIDE TO COMMON WOODWORKING WOODS", printed it (8.5 x 11) on card stock, three hole punched it, and inserted it into my Shopsmith Manual Binder. Although the vinyl one would be nice, believe it or not, I have no room to hang it.
You can enter the name in a search engine to find the file.
Mixed feelings is watching your mother in law driving off a cliff in your new Rolls Royce. :) :(
