Has anyone here coupled up a Speed Reducer with their PowerPro? I think this would allow turning speed down to 25 RPM.
Any advantages other than lathe applications?

With a driving force of 2 HP, there would be a possibility of destroying the speed reducer at 25 rpm. It would not be able to deliver all of the potential torque.
Gearmotors that operate at that speed have gear boxes that are physically larger than the motor.
