Scrollsaw Table Mystery

Unit came from a guy on craigslist. Has wierd holes in the top of the table. Anyone see these before? Serial number seems to be 1991, which is newer than my 1989 unit. It is a freestanding unit.
Looks like maybe they are for an extension to the table...perhaps for hold-downs?

Tis a gauge for setting the position of the quick change blade holders to the blade(length).
Similar to this but has 'socket; for both ends.

Is there a part number for what you have pictured? I need to try and find that part in my box of "what the heck is this for" stuff.JPG40504 wrote:Tis a gauge for setting the position of the quick change blade holders to the blade(length).

I don't have exactly what is pictured here but when I finish in the kitchen I'll do a snapshot of what I have. The part number for the blade holders is 514989.

Blade is NOT installed correctly in holders. Holders should be closed together.

Re: Scrollsaw Table Mystery
Glad to come across this...... always wondered why this table style was different from my other one.

Re: Scrollsaw Table Mystery
Darn I threw that piece away!!! I figured the hole slots were for setting blades but can't see what the one piece with wood screws is good for.
Thanks,
Tom
