DC3300 Small Acessory Storage

I like the basic idea you are building. Granted my usage is likely different than yours. Please forgive my offering personal observations, First bending over every time I want to pick up the tools stored there would be really hard on my aging body. More importantly the loss of that foot of bag would really be missed in my shop. During the last two months I have built two cabinets and filled the dust collector bag twice. Okay I am too lazy to empty that sucker any more than necessary. I was looking at my dust collector the other day and it occurred to me that the PVC tree I built could easily have been screwed to to the dust collector housing. Fjimp

I hardly ever use the accessories with the dust collector anymore. It has become just that - a dust collector. Hoses for the Mark V, the belt sander and surface planer are connected to the DC3300 almost without exception.

I finally arranged the shop so that could be done without creating a trip hazard with the hoses.

Loosing dust capacity in the DC3300 may become an issue. There certainly was a time when it would have been but I use much less rough cut lumber than I once did.

Yeah, that is really bad. I don't know what got under that bag or for how long it was there. I have not tried to clean it but I am afraid the stains are permanent.

I suspect that the moisture was from a rain shower that occurred when I was not in the shop and the door was open.

The dust collector sets right inside the door so that I can roll it outside if I am doing a lot of work.

I maybe cannot do that anymore since a rearranged the equipment in the shop.

I still need to build a drawer but I now have a place for all of the dust collector attachments.

The stains came off leaving only a little evidence that they had been there. I scrubbed with a bristle brush using washing soda (electrolysis supplies) and hot water.

I also have a theory on where the moisture came from.

The base was not built according to plan but I'm not going to admit how that happened.
