Still learning

I am still learning about my shopsmith. If I invert the headstock to use it as a drill press what is used as a rest/table?

Invert????

When 'raised' to vertical, the table is tilted so as to again have a horizontal top. The table tilts 45° in one direction, and 90° in the other.

Do remember to tighten the small screw that prevents the ss returning to horizontal until intended.

Thanks for the info. What year would you say my SS was manufactured? S# ER 26768.

Thanks!
