Lathe duplicator - Sawdust Session #?

Does anyone know which Sawdust Session covers the duplicator? I found the one using parts to straighten a cylinder, but I want to watch the entire demo on using the duplicator.

I am actually trying to come up with a cheap duplicator for a Vega lathe that I bought hoping that a duplicator would come with it, but no luck. Estate sale and widow did not even know how to turn the lathe on. I don't need it bad enough to pop for theirs at ~$1600.00. I am not impressed with most of the ones that I have seen anyway, but think I like the SS solution better and maybe a version of the lathe dancer.

Looking for ideas so bring them on.

Headed to the shop shortly to duplicate spindles by eye and calipher so this will be driving me crazy because I already like ideas that I have seen, but can't slow down on this one to put them in use. But I will be ready next time.

Thanks. I have emailed my brother pictures. I'll see if I can twist his arm to machine the pieces for me. Now I have to come up with another tool rest support. I blew mine up a few weeks ago, luckily I had a universal tool rest sitting on the shelf.

I have played with some of the smaller duplicators and don't like the set ups. What little I have seen of the SS version looks more like the K.I.S.S. stuff that I prefer.

Shipwrights is really really simple. That is the reason for its 'elegance'!:)

Only embellishment I would suggest is modify the cutter so that carbide cutting tips could be used.(the screw on kind like the ss ones[the follower also????])
