Fair price please

Post by cb10 »

Hello all,

I am trying to determine a fair selling price for my Dad's Shopsmith I inherited. I have a Mark V (late '70s 1-1/8 hp), table saw attachment, jointer, bandsaw, lathe and tools, drum and disk sander, router/ shaper and original manuals/ tutorial paperwork.

Everything is in great shape and works fine. I hate to get rid of it because my dad loved it, but i need the room.

I figured I would post it on Craigslist soon but I didn't want to put up an outrageous price and not get any hits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CB

Btw, I am also selling a a mini-lathe with all kinds of pen making accessories/ blanks and a homemade mobile stand with full length drawers. Plus a full size joiner on mobile base that has never been used and a HF dust collector that also has never been used.

Do you have pix as this would help with the price? Also, where are you located? That also effects the price. Really sad story. Looking forward your Craig's list posting.

Too far away. I could use a DC system though.
