Chasing The Clock.

Post by cv3 »

Well Here I am. Behind again. I tell myself, do not take on more work than is fun to do before the holiday’s . But here I am chasing clock once more. I got all the work I am getting paid for finished day before yesterday. A week later than I had planned. Now I have a number of 12 hour days ahead to get caught up the gifts for family. Those that have to get in the mail by Monday. I do this to myself most every year. But I am getting to old to keep it up. To all my fellow wood workers and carvers who are also asking themselves
( Why did I agree to make all this) I raise my cup of coffee! May your tools stay sharp, your glue dry fast and you finish on time. Amen.
Make today a day that lets you smile!

Like you, I've had to put a couple of projects on suspense until I can get the Christmas stuff done. Was hoping to get about 6 picture frames glued today so I could sand the glue joints this weekend, get the glass and backing sheet on Monday. Birthday gifts and the birthday is coming like a tornado. Will just get some place in the house to do the glue up and the temps won't matter about sanding. Too easy, but feeling the pressure.

Good luck to everyone who is making chips, dust and real projects. Hope you get them done with your normal professionalism.

I just love it when she says I can go make sawdust. ;) :D
