Downloading Images

Post by BigSky »

Is anyone having trouble downloading files today. If I attempt to download images they come in at a snails pace.

My network or the system??? That is the question.

Sometimes happens to me too. Don't have an answer. My cure is to shut down the computer, take a nap (or something else) come back to the computer later. Works every time.

chipmaster:

I am sorry but I just cannot get all of your images to completely download. Some have completed the download, some are in the process and some just won't start. Apparently my connection just cannot handle that many photo images all at once. I do not have a real fast connection to start with and I have a wireless connection on top of that. I'll try hardwiring to an ethernet connection later today.

Between 9 and 11 pm on Thursday, couldn't even locate the site. Tried several times to get to the forums, but IE 9 could not find it. Couldn't even find the commercial site, either. Don't know what the problem was, but working great this morning.

I do not know what was wrong but I have fixed it anyhow. Suffering from a great deal of frustration because I could not view many of the images that were posted during the last couple days, I just shut it all down including the modem/router from the ISP. Today it works fine and I can see all of chipmaster many pictures of his recent haul.

I believe the problem was on the other end or point(s) between.

Good reaction of your part though. I was not having problems with other sites, so I figgered it was a ss server/whatever problem.
