Just checked out Heath's (heathicus) Built With a Shopsmith blog; cool.
I didn't roll the old tubes as the curvature could be seen by eyeballing them. But if I can find a straight edge that I can photograph against I will.
Next job is overhauling the bandsaw. Any tips? It's in pretty decent shape but rotating the wheels by hand there is a bind at the same point on the blade as it traverses the lower blade guide (I have the manual and parts list). I think it may just be the blade. Should probably make another post or even do a search for bandsaw maintenance.
Whole lot of shortening going on!
