I'd love to find a project such as that (but not willing to drive halfway across the country for one). It looks to be in better shape than my most recent SS rescue;

it was R O U G H ! ! ! , but is now running smoothly (in my son-in-law's shop). And it wasn't even free!! (It costs me $80 to save it from the metal recycler's grip.)

Hermit of the Hills Woodworks, a hillbilly in the foothills of the Ozarks, scraping by.

I called (I live in Virginia). He said someone is supposed to pick it up Sunday but he will call me if they wimp out. Thanks for the tip!

OK, Sunday is over. What's the story? I'm not interested in having it as I don't have the room in the garage, and can't drive that far, but would like to hear "the rest of the story".
