Attaching a SS utility light to Power Pro

Post by smredleg »

I had a SS utility light attached to my Mark V power head, and that set-up worked fine. Has anyone attached an utility light to the Power Pro, drilling and screwing the holding bracket in place? Haven't found any threads re: unility lights and the Power Pro.
SS PowerPro, bandsaw, jointer, jigsaw, belt sander, bisket cutter & dust collector. Plus a DeWalt 735 planner, and router.

And what is different with a power pro from the older headstock in the 'mounting area'?

Instead of mounting on the headstock, I use a miter slot if available or the top of the rip fence. If you have a 24" rip fence extender, this adds more versatility. http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/catalog/mvmisc_flipupfencestop.htm
