Dust Collector

Post by jc24fan »

I am looking for suggestions on the easiest way to clean the cloth filter bag on dust collectors? I have used air, & beat it with a broom.

Well just let me say that the thicker the "cake" on it. The better it filters.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

If it really bothers you, Shopsmith instructions say you can wash the bag. No, I have not done this.
