Gene, you're on the wrong end of the state. It's shirt-sleeve weather here in Mesa.

Hey, what do you expect in a city named Snowflake? Warm winters? (Just out of curiosity, what is snow? I know who the Flakes are.)

My first motorcycle ride of the year was yesterday too. My wife's grandfather's funeral was yesterday. He was a WWII veteran and I rode with the Patriot Guard Riders in the escort to the grave site. I was also a pall-bearer. I was honored to do that but it didn't dawn on me just how much of an honor it was until they put the flag over his casket.

I've rode with the PGR before but this time it really became apparent how much of an impact they have. The whole family talked all day about how great they were and how much their presence - total strangers spending their Saturday paying respect to somebody they never met - really meant to them.
