Can't figure something out
Although I've a member here for a while, I haven't been around much, but hope to change that as time allows. I noticed that there are a number of familiar names here, either from other Shopsmith sites, or a woodworking site or two. (I'm on other sites as "shopsmithtom". but this site doesn't allow Shopsmith in my user name, so I used "trainguytom" instead, so if the "SST" name rings a bell to anyone, I'll say hi to those guys.
Now, for what I can't figure out...not the only thing, I can't seem to figure out lots of stuff, but that's a story for another day... I notice that some members have their various Shopsmith equipment listed at the end of their posts, & I think that's both interesting & useful, and I'd like to do the same, but can't figure out how to do that & can't seem to find info on the site that helps.
I have noted that stuff in my profile, but don't know how to make it appear on my posts.
Can someone point me to the answer? Thanks

I may have just found my answer
Just before I posted this thread, I added a line to my signature, and it now appears at the end of my post. Maybe this is the answer I was looking for.

You have done good. That is exactly where you want to put the equipment list - in the signature.trainguytom wrote:Just before I posted this thread, I added a line to my signature, and it now appears at the end of my post. Maybe this is the answer I was looking for.
Welcome aboard, SST.

Be aware of two things.
1) Admin has javascript(whatever) turned off so getting fancy(font changes, color, bold...) will not work as intended and clutter it up with control characters).
2) Whatever is defined when a post displays is what will be seen. Any later changes will appear on those older posts when displayed.
I have a couple of 'fancy' thing in mine(I keep hoping the spammers will tire of here and the function re enabled).
Try to make sense out of MickyD's sig.

And here I was ready to suggest a marker pen.

As to snow in Central WI, this is an unusual year. So far there's only about 3-4 inches around the Wausau area. Usually there's a lot more, (in fact, today was about 48 deg, which may be a record) so I'm not complaining. I'm not an outdoor winter guy. I'll stay in the shop & try to build something.
By the way, Ed, I love your SS logo thingie.
