Why do spammers appear on weekends?

I'm thinking they believe that the Admins are not around as much on the weekends.

As told to me by good ole' Dusty I now have a new addition to my ignore list.

Give the guy a break.
He's probably a single father of three, unemployed due to outsourcing and just lost his home. He's had 9 job interviews but couldn't get to them because they were 50 miles from his homeless shelter and he only has a Volt to drive.:D

I'm not surprised. with MLK day coming on monday, perhaps they figure a long weekend will give them more exposure.

FWIW a pm to Admin on a Friday or Saturday night usually gets them dumped by the next day. He does respond from 'home'!:cool:
