Shopsmith Demo in Tucson AZ

Post by jb41339 »

Just got a flyer, in the mail, for an upcoming demonstration at Lowe's (Oracle Road) from Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 through Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 7 PM.

The flyer said that they will be demonstrating the Mark 7 & PowerPro Headstock.

This is just a "heads up" for those in the Tucson area.

See you there?

I wonder why they are completely avoiding CA?

Must be some market research in there somewhere.

There is a small group (from the forum) meeting at the IHop on Oracle before the demo starts at Lowes. Hope you can join the group.

GOSH, I sure hope that Tucson is not last.

I really do not believe that they will avoid a significant potential market no matter what state it might be in. Recall that California was one of the last strong holds before they shut down the TA and California was serviced by this organization earlier.

I have been sitting here in Arizona wondering if they were ever going to come back here BECAUSE the last past through this area did not yield a large turnout. The last TA here in Tucson only had 4 attendees and three of us were repeats from previous years. It was more of a social event than a sales event.

They have been hitting the market pretty hard (based on the schedule that I have been watching). I just hope that these visits are really productive for the sales team and Shopsmith.

jb41339 - I just looked at the map of Shopsmith users and got a real surprise. I knew you were here in Tucson and I think I knew you were on the NW side but I did not realize that we are "near neighbors".

The map shows you and I to be within walking distance of one another. I am very near the intersection of Ina/LaCholla. You appear to be the other side of Ina a bit closer to LaCanada.

Dusty...

I'm not quite "walking distance" from you. I'm actually near the intersection of Orange Grove and 1st Avenue.

I'm going to try to meet you guys @IHOP on Saturday morning. Can't say for sure, but will try.

Regards,

Jim
