I can so identify. I can never remember the punchlines to jokes until it's too late. Then, since I remember the joke, it's not so funny. But then I tend to wake up in a new world everyday anyway.

Hermit of the Hills Woodworks, a hillbilly in the foothills of the Ozarks, scraping by.
