Grandios Gloat

Post by dusty »

I have just this afternoon become a great grand father again. One would think that after doing this five times previosly that it would become "old hat" but it does not. This has been a glorious day.

Baby (Nelani Mia) was born today at 2:17PM. Mommy and baby are doing fine. I, on the other hand, may need resuscitation.

Congratulations, I don't think having grand kids could ever get "old hat".

Congratulations Dusty. I can only imagine how that must feel. I'm one rung under you currently, just a Grandfather (of 3) and I know how great that feels.

Can I make one suggestion. in 1980 my son was a year old and my grandfather was still living. We had a 4-generation photo taken. The photographer said he took many 4G photos of women, but that was the first one he'd ever done of men. It is a rarity. I still treasure that photo.

Thank you Tom for that suggestion. I do appreciate it. All I have to do now is "get them all together at the same time" and "get my wife to go before the camera". Maybe the thought of a four generation photo will entice her.

If I manage to do that, I will post a copy here - without telling her of course.
