JPG is right. If I had to set an order in which to acquire SPTs, it would be:
1. bandsaw
2. jointer
3. belt sander
4. another SS!!!
5. repeat hahaha

But, seriously, you need a jointer and you'll use the heck out of the belt sander.

Hermit of the Hills Woodworks, a hillbilly in the foothills of the Ozarks, scraping by.

If you can afford the $200 and they are in reasonably good condition I would not let this deal go. I never had a jointer I do now and wonder how I made due without one. It is an essential piece of shop machinery needed for milling lumber prior to making parts. It is a bit small but it works flawlessly once dialed in. I do not have the strip sander or belt sander but sure wish i did I do have a cheap dual belt/disc sander that really wasn't worth the price paid which wasn't much. Go check them out and if good buy em' and never look back.

Guys, If I had the room( I only have a 20x 10 shop) and my Fiancee would let me use some of the wedding cash I would definitely buy more SS stuff.

Since I dont see these coming up for sale around my neck of the woods that often I might just splurge. Sell some of my other tools that I dont plan on using anymore....

Yeah I Emailed Paul, I would love to just get a hint of how he does the inlays.
I had no Idea he was so close, Were both on Vancouver Island.

Im really looking forward to meeting him. This place gets better and better!!!

That ditch could pose a problem!!! tripping hazard!
I have enough to do till the spring for sure, im just getting the hold of the ringmaster tool so thats going to keep me occupied.

ps- Joiner and beltsander are sold.... not to me... dang!
