That was truly awesome thank you very much for sharing that link. I wonder how thin the shade was when he was finished for it to allow light to shine through it? Man that was a lot of wood wasted though.

I like the idea of using the light to guage the thickness, cool idea! I believe the chips went to local agricultural types for mulch, or something like that.
I also was wondering how many of us would use a chainsaw as a lathe tool?
I wonder how many sandbags I'd have to pile on the 10ER base to have it stay still???:rolleyes:
