Yep I left off the sanding disc. An 8" blade for the arbor would be appropriate. Any buyer needs to understand it is an 8" saw.

It really is unfortunate that these cast iron tanks are not appreciated for what they are and are capable of. Most see them as a pile of junk.

Paul, I would be honored to post a couple of pics for each of my restorations. How do you get the photos into the thread? Do you just copy and paste? BTW, good point on including an 8" blade with the package. I also have a spoeed changer that I can include.

You have already found out how to get them attached.

After you have 'uploaded' them, go back to the edit post screen, locate the cursor where you want the pix to appear, and click on the paperclip. A drop down menu appears. Click on the pix desired(or all) and they will be inserted at the 'cursor' position.

Post 5 pix of each one in the gallery if you have them.

Oh, please don't let my experience in anyway stop you with your project. I got speed changers with all but one of the 10E/ERs I've collected. The work is rewarding. Good luck. I've bought many used Mark V's and 10E/ERs. The main reason I got them is because the shipping charges are high or the sellers are just not waiting long enough to get a decent price or the seller inherited something they could see no value in. I paid a lot for my first 10ER simply because I had been looking and there were none to be had and it was from an 80-some year old man who bought it brand new & uses a 510 to make toys for kids in hospitals. So the money was going towards a good cause. There is nothing better looking than 10E/ER which has been chromed and sparkling.

Backhertz... as I mentioned I will probably keep doing my restorations. In addition to getting satisfaction and enjoyment out of the process it is also a way to pay tribute to my father whose old 10er I must have disaasembled and assembled 100s of times when I was a kid. He was a construction engineer that eventually mastered nuclear systems design in large power generation projects. A real "get'ter done" guy.

Agreed... .it is a bit obtuse. If you haven't already uploaded a pic, by clicking on the paperclip gives you the impression that it is limited attachments only

Now to dig up the pics from the earlier restoration. The more I look at the recent restoration the greater the inclination to sell the first one!
