Thanks to your help I went on Ebay and found all the parts except for one to refurbish my 1956 Shopsmith. Since that time I had bought another shopsmith so I gave the 1956 to my nephew who has taken up woodworking as a hobby. Thanks to everyone for the help, would have hated to have discarded a perfectly good machine that has served me so well.
