couple of new workbenches

Post by THOMRIDER »

I bought two new Workbenches at Home Depot this year.

I was also able to use harbor freight 20% off coupons on both

and they were both on clearance on top of that.

I did not know that they would take HF coupons. I will have to try that out.
Thanks for the info.

Some will take the coupon, some will not. The store close to me use to accept the 20% off coupon but stopped. It is up to the manager.
Also note the HD cashier did not look at the coupon too close. Harbor Freight does not even accept the 20% coupon on tool chest, jacks etc.....
Often the official policy for any store is to match the price on an exact item, not just a blind % off coupon.

That's true the coupon excludes tool chest and other discounts. But its not my job to read the coupons small print to them. I went straight to the customer service desk every time I have used the coupons. I used them on:
Husky 3 pc. Nail guns on clearance for $74 after coupon $59.
Also electricians pouch $25 after coupon $20
Ryobi 8 inch grinder $65 after coupon 52

So I have saved a bit of money this year.

Lowes didn't accept the coupon so I have been spending my money at Home Depot, and I am remodeling my basement so HD will be getting my money for the materials also.
I told Lowes I spend a lot of money on supplies when they said no and that HD takes the coupons and the people at the service desk didn't seem to care.

So if Lowes goes out of business maybe I will have had a small part in it.

My two cents.
