I normally do not pay that amount for unknown condition or 50s Shopsmiths. I try to stay under a $100 maximum unless there are a lot of additional items, accessories and/or SPTs included.mountainbreeze wrote:This one just showed up today...

I noticed this one showed up on craigs list yesterday. It is not a unit but a scroll saw with table for $40.00. Just don't know if I need it or not. But I think it definitely is priced right!
Can this be used as a regular SPT if you put the tubes back on it??

Outstanding buy. I am sure you could get the parts needed (back ordered and not too cheap) to convert it to a regular SPT. If you do buy it, I would be interested in swapping you the parts you would need to convert to a regular SPT. Too far for me to buy it.aloibl wrote:I noticed this one showed up on craigs list yesterday. It is not a unit but a scroll saw with table for $40.00. Just don't know if I need it or not.
