A local kitchen cabinet distributor is trying to move their painted cabinets on craigslist. Among the features for these were a couple of things I found interesting.
"Cabinet box is constructed from furniture grade high density 5/8' plywood"
Really? 5/8 plywood? and what is "high density" plywood? Of course, I may just be showing my ignorance here.
and this one really caught my attention (thus my motivation for such a random posting)
"Enhanced construction with Amish method of using pocket screwed joinery"
So it would seem the Amish invented pocket screwed joinery??? Must of needed it to build those miracle heaters I see advertised.

What is the definition of plywood. I have some stuff in the shop that measures a long 1/2" and is a "plywood" built on an MDF core. If the core is high density...well, you decide.
I don't know if pocket screws were invented by the Amish or not but assuming they were not...they might have developed "enhanced construction methods".
I am not the minister of all things good but I do tend to look on the positive side until shown that I am dead wrong.
