Tool Gloat

Post by STB »

I hit a few garage sales yesterday. Picked up the 75 pound 360 degree double jaw vice for $10 and the 9 clamps for $6

I picked up the floor jack for $3 and it works

While leaving the next one I looked down at this big box of handbags and spied one that said Gucci. (Thought eureka.:D ) Went back paid a $1 and quickly left. The plan was to save it for a special occasion.

After This mornings breakfast fiasco where I melted the table cover I decided this was a good time to pull out the Gucci handbag. SWMBO took one look at it and pointed out the zipper did not say Gucci also there was no serial # or style # inside. The best intentions but she said it looked nice.

But she HAD to be thrilled with the vice!

I'm sorry but you must have really felt like you needed a peace offering. You lost all good common sense there for a moment.

A GUCCI for $1:)

But it was the thought really. She is on your mind at all times and you must have thought this piece would have looked terrific with her carrying it.

Nice score. If I put that vice on the end of my workbench it would tip it over. :D I would have to get some one to help carry it.

Sweet vise and you can never have enough clamps I am learning very quickly. The handbag was a bummer but it ain't often you run into a real bargain find like a genuine Gucci handbag for $1. You still did good.
