I was about to get on here to ask if anybody had seen my gallon jug of Titebond II...
I had hunted ll over for it so I could refill my squeeze bottle. I just used it a couple of weeks ago but couldn't find it. I had just doublel checked one end of the shop and went to check the far corner. I then went back to the first corner and lo and behold, somebody had sneaked in while I was at the other corner and put the jug back on the shelf in plain sight... It couldn't possibly have been sitting there in the open when I was looking there 2 minutes before...

Is this a hunted workshop, may be something happened in the basement in the past that you are not aware of Francis .... or else somebody that you know is doing gluing on the "side"

Looked everywhere for two days, and again everywhere, for my magnifying goggles I use when scrolling.
Gave up.
Today I found them hanging on a nail above the scroll saw. Right where I left them last time.

I glad to hear that I am not the only one that does that. I looked for my brad nail gun for about two weeks, so I went and bought a new one. Three days later I found my old one right where it was suppose to be. I think they call it senior moments.
It's shop gremlins, and they sometimes sneak into my house and do the same thing. And apparently they are breeding in the dark and there are more of them because it seems to be happening more often. I think they may be related to the sock monster in the dryer!

Be careful. Last year, my senior monments begin to occur daily so to please my wife, I went to a Neurology doctor last fall. After many tests and brain scans, I was informed I had the beginning of stage 3 Alzheimer. Other than having some difficulty forming/plotting ideas/plans in my head, I find by keeping to set/written schedules and using written step by step instructions, I believe I am still functioning in my shop just as good as I did many years ago. I am blessed that my wife does check my schedules each day to insure I did not miss any. I am finding that the more time spent in my shop and answering Forum Posts seems to improve my memory somewhat each day from where my memory capability was last fall. Cross word puzzles are next on the list.

Good grief, which one of you guys sent that gremlin to my shop. Last night I had my current half full bottle of Titebond III, this AM I had to open a new one. That gremlin hid that sucker right in front of my face. Jim:(
