I have Tinnitus from being around loud machinery in early 70's.. 3 distinct annoying rings. I got hearing aids a while back and they stop about 90% of the ringing... my "aids" have 4 settings... Loud, medium, Quiet and wife... on the wife setting all the anoying noise is stopped.

I'll take bluegrass, but not in the shop... saw dust hitting the floor is the sound I like to hear.

Been having ringing in the ears and dizziness for years. Many docs thought I had a mental problem. Went to one neurologist who had me do exercises 3 times daily for about 3 weeks. Spot three places on the wall. Sit up on the side of the couch or bed, look at the spot on the wall, then lay on the right or left side, focusing on the second spot on the wall, count to 30 seconds, back upright counting 30 seconds, then right focusing on the 3rd spot for 30 seconds. Do 10 repetitions 3 times daily. Helped me for a few months. When I feel the dizziness returning, initiate the process and it helps my dizziness. Cheaper that CT, MRI and other labs. Won't work for everyone, but will for some. Won't reduce the ear ringing.

Well now my wife says that I am probably the only person in the world that listens to Bluegrass one minute and Acid Rock the next!:D Truth be told I like to load up my MP3 player with all the songs I like and then hit scramble. Just like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get.

I listen to mine the same way. Not a big blue grass fan though. But eclectic none the less.

I do the scramble thing (ITunes) too. All that I get though is Classic Country and a little bit Rock now and then.
I just changed to OzarkMountainAirways (on the web) to see if I like what's there. Not bad!

My 18 year old daughter showed me Pandora Internet radio -- available on the web at Pandora.com or from the iTunes store as an app. It allows you to create your own "stations" by putting in the name of an artist or song you like. It plays not only that artist/song but other songs selected through some kind of algorithm. I highly recommend it.
