An add on to my Mark 520
I had a router top that I bought from Lee Valley and since I did not have the space to fit a stand, I was trying to fit it with my 520 ...
Since I had those parts who were with the old fence system (on the picture is one of the small ones )...
I took the two longest one to attach a frame that I did with hard maple throw away wood bed frames, and on it I manage to fit my top flush with the SS table, I needed to keep some space clear on each side because of the attachments of this top are fixed by the sides of the top ... see the pictures

I know what you mean, but there is already a very nice fence that I have with it and it is specially designed to fit on this table and to be used with a router, the lower part of the fence is in two part so it splits to allow an opening for the bits to be in when working on a side or corner of a piece of wood.
You can see the complete system on this page of the Lee Valley online catalog :

I missunderstood the right angle fixture in the Lee Vally pic as being a device to set the fence to bit distance plus had Veritas confused with Incra in the few brain cells I have left........
sorry

Please contact me offline (annbill.mayo@comcast.net) if anyone is looking for information on a set of 520 Pro main table rails. Does anyone have the part number for the front rail of the Pro 520 main table rails that accepts the Direct-Reading Rip Fence Scales? The only part number I have is 522298 which I believe is the early 520 front rail. Thanks.Ed in Tampa wrote:What would be neat is if you could get some 520 fence rails and attach it to your new router. Then you could use the 520 fence as part of the fence system for your router.
