Oil SAE 30 with no detergents and graphite

I have searched the Google ...
I have searched the forum for an answer to this question.
Where do you guys find that type of oil and also the graphite ?
Notice : I am in Canada and do not have Lowes chain of stores in my area.
I have look at Canadian Tire and Reno-Depot ... SAE 20 only and no mention about detergents or no detergents on the plastic bottle. Otherwise 3 in 1 type.
Graphite = none at all ...
I have still got to go to Home D, maybe I will find some there ...
Maybe at specialized auto stores ...
Any suggestions ? No detergents is not mentioned of what I look at either.

Use compressor oil. It's fine. Also, graphite is sold In a spray can typically where they have the other oils like all in one, wd40 etc.

I've used 30W non-detergent from NAPA as well as from Sears (4-cycle lawnmower oil).

However the discussions in the last few years on the Forum suggested 10W or Zoom Spout Turbine Oil will work just fine.

A fresh oiling usually makes the machine a little quieter to boot.

Do you have any large truck or tractor supply/equipment outlets in your area? Most older diesel engins use a 30 or 40 weight none detergent type oil (I'm not sure about the newer diesels with the pollution control). You can use oils with detergent in diesels but it is not necessary. So, a lot of times folks find they can save a little money by going with a none detergent oil.

Add my vote for Zoom Spout. The extending tube makes it so simple to get the oil in the right places.....especially on the sheaves. I was able to get it a Lowes. Have also seen it at the local Ace Hardware.

I buy SAE30 non-detergent oil for the drip oiler in my 1924 hit and miss governed engine. I find it at either AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts. If I had to guess, I would go with AutoZone.

It is probably more than you want to buy but I used to buy powdered graphite in a quart squeeze bottle quite inexpensively from a nearby John Deere dealer. I mostly used it in lubing corn planter parts and wheat drill parts. I would just add it to the seed hoppers now and then. It made everything really slick and stopped a lot of wear.

Off-topic side note (but wood related)...
Years ago when I was cutting constantly I used to make my own chainsaw bar oil. I used one quart of Arco-graphite motor oil (remember that?), one can of STP, and 2 quarts of the cheapest regular motor oil I could find. It was cheap and worked great. I used that mix for years. Back then commercial bar oil was kind of $$$.
