I have read several threads that talked about webinars
Sounds like web seminar.. atts my best guess.
If so, how often are they?
How do you find and partake in one?

I didn't know what a Shopsmith was...
Three days later I owned one...
One week later I was rebuilding one...
Four months later I owned two....
Ok Ok, I'm up to four now...

Your guess at the noun is exactly correct.
Web Based Seminar.
They can be done several ways but essentially boil down to Live demonstartions and recorded. Often times a live webinar will be recorded and then can be viewed later as long as the media is hosted somewhere. I Hope SS decides to do this and host some of the video from the webinar.

Am I the only one who is eternally grateful that 'webinar' for 'web-based seminar' didn't end up someting like what happend to the phrase 'web-log'...
'BLOG'
Although, when most people say 'I have a blog' or 'I've been blogging', I am inclined to agree with them on the sound of it alone!:D
