5/8" bandsaw blade tension
Anybody have a suggestion for the correct tension when using a Shopsmith 5/8" resaw blade on the bandsaw? The tensioning scale on my saw stops at 1/2".
Beeg (bob) is right on the money. Somewhere there is a written instruction to use the 1/2" mark for tensioning a 5/8" blade.
Here is a copy of the on-line sales pitch for bandsaw blades - - underlining is mine.

F. 5/8" Woodcutting Resaw Bandsaw Blade
5/8" Woodcutting Blade - 3-4 Variable TPI - This blade is used strictly for resawing wood up to 6 inches thick and straight cuts only. Variable-spaced tooth design gives a more aggressive cut, less tooth vibration and ultimately, a finer finish cut. Use 1/2" tension setting on Shopsmith bandsaw.
