Can anyone tell me how to ajust the bandsaw blades on the ShopSmith Mark V using the ajustment guide?

Hi Willie and welcome.
If you do not have the bandsaw owner's manual I would suggest that you not try to adjust the slider (guide post) for the height of the work. That adjustment is problematic even with the manual.
If you are talking about the other guides, the blade guides, they are the steel blocks that are to be positioned about the thickness of a business card away from the blade. There is a set above and below the table. They should be positioned using the knurled knob to position the blade guides just behind the gulllet of the tooth. The bearings on the guide assembly should be very close to the back of the blade but not actually touching the blade The double bearing on the body of the saw near the tension adjustment scale generally does not need any adjustment but the back of the blade should contact that bearing at the groove in the center. This bearing guides the blade onto the upper wheel for proper tracking.
Do not use the tracking and alignment for conventional bandsaws for a SS bandsaw. The SS saw is self tracking and does not use conventional bandsaw alignment methods.
I am sure others will respond to this post with additional info for you so hang in there.
